Estimator - Flooring

***BEGIN DESCRIPTION*** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Flooring Estimator to join a growing team in Washington, DC. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at analyzing project specifications, producing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with both internal teams and clients to drive successful project outcomes. What You’ll Do: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for flooring installation, sanding, finishing, and repairs Review blueprints, plans, and client specifications to ensure scope alignment Partner with sales teams to support bids and proposals, including larger commercial projects Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain up-to-date material pricing Communicate directly with clients to clarify project scope, pricing, and adjustments Maintain and update cost databases for labor and materials Stay current on industry trends, pricing shifts, and best practices What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of estimating experience within flooring, construction, or a related field Strong knowledge of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, and vinyl Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and floor plans Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K matching, PTO, and more!
