Our center is unique in that it is physician-owned, reflecting our dedication to a collaborative approach to healthcare.Surgical Scrub Tech at North Campus Surgery CenterUnder the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Operating Room Scrub Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.Qualifications:High school graduate or equivalent.Completion of an appropriate surgical technician programPrevious experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferredMust possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstanding of aseptic techniques and their implementationAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededMust be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physiciansUSPI is committed to, and proud of our inclusive culture.
