ETL Lead

Position: ETL Lead
Location: Raleigh, NC*** Hybrid***
Duration: 1 Year
Key Responsibilities
Lead PostgreSQL database migration and modernization projects.
Design and implement PostgreSQL solutions on AWS (RDS/Aurora).
Drive database performance tuning, HA/DR, backup, and recovery strategies.
Lead migration planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration support.
Mentor DBAs and developers and provide technical leadership.
Collaborate with architects, application teams, and business stakeholders.
Required Skills
10+ years of database experience with 5+ years in PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.
Strong AWS experience (RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS DMS, AWS SCT).
Experience migrating Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server databases to PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting, Terraform, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Database Specialty).
Experience in Banking and Financial Services.
Experience with large-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
