We look forward to hearing from you.The Site Quality Manager has the overall responsibility for ensuring that construction related procedures, systems and processes have been established and are followed, by implementing relevant assurance monitoring and measurement requirements and site quality, handover and close out requirements. Furthermore, they are responsible for ensuring that appointed Contractors follow the stipulated contract quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:Attend/co-ordinate kick off meetings with Client and ContractorsHost quality meetings on site with all ContractorsWeekly progress meetings with project site personnelDaily/weekly progress meetings with ContractorsWeekly progress meetings with ClientDaily commissioning meetingsConstruction close out reviewConduct progressive reviews of Contractor data packs for completeness and complianceProduce Site quality monthly reports and dashboard reports, populated from QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Co-coordinatorsProduce Audit/assessment reports (internal and Vendors) and inspection/surveillance reportsProduce Project close out reportConduct internal/Contractor/Supplier audits/quality assessments as per the approved schedule and checklistsSet up and implement site aspects of the PQP (Project Quality Plan) in consultation with the Construction and Project Quality Manager and manage the PQCP (Project Quality Control Plan) intervention and sign offsPrepare and implement QC inspection proceduresImplement and maintain site quality documentation controls adequatelyAssist with the development of the Project QC inspection schedule and measure progressCo-coordinate the preparation of Field Inspection Packs (FIPs)Co-coordinate project field inspections, sampling and testing activities identified in Contractor ITP (Inspection Test Plan)Co-ordinate disposition of all non-conformances (NCRs), Field Engineering Queries (FEQs) and concessions in consultation with Field EngineersEnsure that non conformances and concession requests, if applicable, are resolved and cleared prior to release of equipmentEnsure that all inspection, measuring and testing equipment used by the Supplier/Contractor is calibrated and traceable to a national standardComply with document management requirementsCo-ordinate Site QA/QC recordsWitness SAT requirements. Check Red Line and Final 'As Built' documentsDefine the requirements for approved inspection authorities (AIA) and inspection staffCo-ordinate inspection resources (local and agency) including the allocation of inspection assignments in accordance with the QC inspection planEnsure inspection resources are fully aware of respective Supplier inspection Scope of Work/Services, and Supplier specified QC requirementsReview and distribute inspection reports and inspection releasesRecommend and follow up corrective actions to prevent internal or external deficienciesSupport the change management process, FEQs, concessions, DCNs (Design Change Notices), PCNs (Project Change Notices) etc. and partake in the construction site close out activitiesLiaise with Contractor QA/QC personnel in meetingsLiaise with the Project's Site representatives and third party agencies on QA/QC matters, e.g. field survey activitiesFacilitate and co-ordinate of Supplier pre-inspection meetingsLiaise with procurement expeditors, with particular attention to managing QC aspects associated with the release of Supplier productEnsure that the Designer fulfill their obligations in terms of the OHS Act and its Regulations and include it in the PQP and Contractor ITP as intervention points as well as the data book sign offWork in conjunction with the respective Discipline Engineering Leads to expedite and resolve issues identified during inspectionsCo-ordinate QC records in line with the data pack indicesQualifications and Experience:Completed secondary school and Quality Diploma from a recognized instituteTen years appropriate experience in Quality Management in the field/EPCM projectsKnowledge of national and international codes, standards and specifications related to fabrication of pressurized and non-pressurized plant and equipmentMust be familiar with ISO 9001Why join us?
