Location 4802 25TH AVENUE,SUITE 400,Astoria, NY, 11103,United States Base Pay $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 / Year Employee Type Full Time Exempt Description An Astoria based General Contracting and Real Estate Development firm is currently seeking a full-time Estimator. The Estimator is responsible for conceptualizing and interpreting the scope of work from both incomplete or schematic documents and complete detailed documents as well as working closely with other Preconstruction team members to assist with the successful delivery of design phase services. Requirements The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform both conceptual and detailed estimating on civil, architectural and structural portions of projects ranging in size from $10M to $100+M Work with Estimating Manager in preparing conceptual estimates Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for a project to support a Lump Sum Price. Coordinate project documents for all delivery methods Lead detailed reviews of civil, architectural and structural subcontractor’s scope before award of project contracts. Obtain and present unit pricing data. Responsible for outlining clarifications and qualifications within an estimate. Provide back up for estimates to be used during analysis and review.
