Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Schedule – Days, Evenings, and Overnight shifts available; 5x8-hour shifts; every 3rd weekend required; overnight rotation is 7 nights on / 7 nights off

Key Responsibilities

• Perform order entry and verify medication orders in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Manage IV preparations, pain-controlled analgesia, and antibiotic therapies
• Identify and evaluate drug interactions to ensure patient safety
• Support pharmacokinetic and renal dosing as needed
• Document and chart accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to optimize patient medication management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or RPh designation required
• Active Virginia pharmacy license in hand at time of submittal – no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with IV therapy, pain-controlled analgesia, and antibiotic management required
• EPIC charting experience required – no exceptions
• No prior license or background hits; clean history required – no exceptions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chemotherapy preparation and administration support
• Background in anticoagulant therapy, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
• Prior travel pharmacy experience preferred
