The Forklift operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the unit.Essential Job FunctionsLoads and unloads product; efficiently and safely stacking/storing productMoves product from staging or storage areas to designated areas in the facilityEnsures accuracy of inbound and outbound shipmentsMaintains appropriate records/reports to guarantee accuracy and inventoryAssists with physical inventoryComplies with all OSHA and MSDS StandardsPerforms daily equipment checks and maintains maintenance logExecutes assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerMaintains a clean & safe environmentAll other duties and responsibilities as may be assignedQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentGood math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be requiredHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentRF scanner gunClean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be requiredForklift certification per OSHA standards
