Operations ManagerPiedmont Pediatrics is a closely owned, independent pediatric practice striving to provide personalized, comprehensive, and family-oriented care. Our office cares for patients from birth through the college years, is an established user of electronic medical records (EMR), and strives to foster a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.The Operations Manager at Piedmont Pediatrics is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of a private pediatric outpatient clinic with two physical locations. This role ensures efficient clinic operations, consistent policies and procedures across sites, regulatory compliance, strong staff performance, and a high-quality patient and family experience. The Operations Manager serves as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative staff, and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations across both clinic locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality of serviceDevelop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and workflowsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficienciesEnsure appropriate coverage, scheduling, and use of clinic resourcesSupervise and support non-clinical staff including front desk, administrative, and support rolesPartner with clinical leadership to address staffing needs, workflow challenges, and clinic flowProvide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of service and accountabilitySupport onboarding and ongoing training for operational staffEnsure a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered experience across all touchpointsAddress operational concerns, complaints, and service issues in a timely and professional mannerMonitor patient flow, wait times, and front-office operations to improve satisfactionEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policiesMaintain readiness for audits, inspections, and site reviewsCollaborate with HR and leadership on workplace safety, incident management, and documentationOversee completion and maintenance of required operational recordsSupport budgeting, expense monitoring, bookkeeping, and cost-control initiatives related to operations as neededPartner with billing, finance, and leadership to address operational impacts on revenue cycleManage vendor relationships and contracts related to clinic operations and facilitiesOversee facilities management for both locations, including maintenance, equipment, and space utilizationEnsure systems, supplies, and infrastructure support efficient clinic operationsCoordinate with IT and vendors as needed to resolve operational or system issuesExcellent benefits, competitive wages.
