Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have Skills/Experience: PACU experience is required Description: Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities region. The facility has 111 beds and offers a range of services including emergency care, family medicine, orthopedic/joint replacements, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, lab services, diagnostic imaging, and more. This is a teaching hospital, the largest in the Tri-Cities area. The region features beautiful recreational landscapes, including 25 square miles of parks and three golf courses. It is situated in the heart of Washington's wine country. The facility is conveniently located within manageable driving distances to major cities. Candidates should be aware that the position requires on-call shifts. The PACU unit provides care mainly for adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases. The patient ratio is predominantly 1:1 with a total of 6 beds in the unit. Current monitoring equipment includes Space Labs monitors, and the electronic health record system used is Paragon. The ideal candidate will fit well within the PACU team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role requires strong nursing skills in post-anesthesia care.
