Agile Product Manager

Serco is excited to continue support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

Our Agile Product Manager, located at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB), OH, provides management support to the F-35 JPO, Maintenance Systems Program Management Office (PMO) with its full acquisition cradle-to-grave (modernization, production, and sustainment) responsibility for the F-35's logistics information systems: the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS); Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN); and, Prognostics and Health Management (PHM). These information systems support the F-35's full mission cycle from planning, sortie generation and recovery, maintenance management, and supply chain management.

You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Analysts and Program/Project Managers who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.

In this role, you will:

• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in providing ALIS central point of entry and standard operating units for unclassified and classified F-35 ground-based systems to include hardware, software, and related peripheral equipment for ground-based Air System management.
• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in providing the authority for developing, demonstrating, product support planning, producing, and fielding the modernized F-35 maintenance and logistics information system.
• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in providing onboard and off-board software to diagnose and life manage the F-35 AV and engine.
• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in improving data quality and integration by evaluating the delivery and execution of Sustainment Data Products (SDPs) to identify, prioritize, and fix defects.
• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in transforming data by facilitating the movement of source data to an integrated data environment.
• Assist Maintenance Systems PMO in supporting acquisition by developing documents, supporting proposal evaluation and contracting negotiations to fully capture data quality requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• The ability to provide onsite support at F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located Wright Patterson AFB, OH no less than 2-days per week, each week. Exact days in office at the JPO must be coordinated with F-35 customer and approved by your Serco manager.
• An active DoD Secret Security clearance.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related discipline plus 4 years of recent work experience as a product owner OR an Associate's degree plus 4 years of additional work experience (total of 8 years of work experience).
• DoD Logistics and Prognostic Health solutions experience preferred.
• Possess a strong understanding of Agile methods and frameworks.
• Possess a working knowledge of software development, life cycle and architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in "continuous improvement" work environments and ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining team morale.
• Strong ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders, translating business needs to software requirements and stories.
• Demonstrated success in managing iterative projects that span multiple quarters or years.
• Possess excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Proficiency in the use of analytics tools, Microsoft Suite, Jira, Confluence and Mattermost.
• The ability to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Experience of creating products and working in Microsoft Office Suite- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (data types, formulas and functions in the workbooks), Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft TEAMS.
• Experience with a task management tool such as ETMS2.
