Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while providing safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care. The Radiology Tech will operate imaging equipment, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Verify patient identity, medical history, allergies, and imaging orders.
Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
Follow radiation-safety procedures and ALARA principles.
Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate instructions.
Evaluate images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
Perform portable/mobile X-ray examinations when required.
Assist with emergency, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
Assist with fluoroscopy and operating-room/C-arm procedures as required.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
Perform routine equipment checks and report equipment problems.
Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment.
Collaborate with radiologists and other members of the healthcare team.
Common Imaging Procedures

Depending on the assignment, Travel Radiology Techs may perform:

Routine X-rays
Portable/mobile radiography
Emergency and trauma imaging
Chest and abdominal imaging
Orthopedic imaging
Fluoroscopy
C-arm/OR procedures
Pediatric radiography
Inpatient and outpatient imaging
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT(R) certification or equivalent credential.
Active state radiologic technologist license/registration when required.
Current BLS certification may be required.
Recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning.
Experience with digital radiography and imaging equipment.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Travel Assignment

Trexoros Health Job ID #0705. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
