Senior Training Specialist

Overview The Senior Training Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our employees are well-equipped to provide high-quality care and services to our members. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, developing advanced training materials, and evaluating the impact of training initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead Training Program Design and Development: Design and develop training programs that align with company goals, strategic initiatives, and regulatory requirements. Create and update advanced training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online modules, to ensure they are current, relevant, and engaging. Deliver and Facilitate Training Sessions: Lead and facilitate training sessions for new and existing employees, covering policies, procedures, and specific job functions. Use a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, online training, and hands-on demonstrations, to cater to different learning styles and ensure maximum retention. Evaluate and Enhance Training Effectiveness: Conduct evaluations of training programs to assess their effectiveness and impact on employee performance. Develop and implement advanced strategies to improve training content, delivery methods, and overall program outcomes based on metrics and feedback. Analyze training data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Manage Training Records and Compliance: Maintain detailed and accurate records of training sessions, including attendance, completion, and performance data. Ensure training documentation is compliant with company and regulatory standards. Generate and present reports on training metrics to senior management and other stakeholders. Lead Special Projects and Initiatives: Plan and execute special training projects and initiatives, including the development of new programs and the implementation of existing ones. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the rollout of new processes, systems, and policies. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Research and stay informed about new training methodologies, industry best practices, and changes in healthcare regulations and standards. Apply this knowledge to enhance training quality and effectiveness. Recommend and implement new training technologies and tools to improve the learning experience. Mentor and Coach Junior Training Specialists: Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior training specialists. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth. Develop and Maintain Training Standards: Establish and maintain high standards for training programs and materials. Develop and implement training policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all training initiatives. This role prioritizes assignments, provides assistance, schedules work, but does not directly supervise. Your Qualifications Associate\'s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Certifications in training and development (e.g., CPLP) are highly preferred. 5-7+ years of experience in training, education, or a related field, with a focus on healthcare, health plan, or managed care. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as CMS, preferred. Advanced Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication to convey complex information and engage diverse audiences. Strong Organizational and Leadership Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead cross-functional teams. Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia), data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite/Visio. Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and develop long-term plans aligned with organizational goals. What’s in it for you?
