About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Management Operations to provide operational leadership and management oversight of a portfolio of residential condominium and cooperative properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role involves supervising property management staff, serving as the primary point of contact for Boards, ownership groups, and residents, and directly supporting the SVP in executing strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily property management and operations, monitoring financial performance, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. The VP will also be involved in team management and development, as well as fostering strong professional relationships with clients and residents. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in residential property management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, is required. Experience in managing condominium and cooperative portfolios is also preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial, operational, and team management skills, excellent communication, and client relationship abilities. Professional designations such as ARM®, CMCA®, or CPM® are preferred, and a real estate license is a plus. Core competencies for this role include operational leadership, problem-solving, financial management, budget oversight, client and board engagement, team development, and mentorship, as well as compliance and regulatory knowledge.
