Data Center Cable Technician I

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated, hard-working individuals to support a large-scale data center construction project expected to last a minimum of one year. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in gaining hands-on experience in data center infrastructure installation and construction. Technicians will work both indoors and outdoors and must be comfortable in a physically demanding environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM
• Schedule may transition to 10-hour shifts based on project needs

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Must possess and be proficient with the following tools:
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Drywall saw
  • Torpedo level
  • Tape measure
  • Snips with belt sheath
  • Needle-nose and channel-lock pliers
  • Hammer
  • Cable stripper
  • Flashlight
  • Work gloves

Travel Requirements

• Candidates should reside within approximately 40 miles of the project location.
• Must be willing to travel to another project site in Ohio or Iowa for 3 to 6 weeks of training.
• Travel assignment includes a $50/day per diem .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temple, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
