Pediatric Dentist Vernon Hills, IL
A growing dental practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dentist to provide high-quality oral healthcare services to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs. This role offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered dentistry while building trusted relationships with patients and their families in a collaborative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions in pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's oral health needs
- Provide preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental services
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences
- Promote a comfortable and positive environment for pediatric patients and their families
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of dental practice
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program
- Current dental license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
