Painter/Prepper

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Painter/Prepper to join our growing Collision Center team.

The Painter/Prepper is responsible for preparing, refinishing, and painting vehicles and parts to manufacturer standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

What you'll do:

• Prepare vehicles and parts for paint, including sanding, masking, body filler work, and priming
• Mix and apply automotive paints following proper color-matching and manufacturer guidelines
• Perform spot repairs, blending, and full-panel refinishing
• Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain paint booth, prep areas, and equipment in clean, safe working condition
• Work collaboratively with technicians, estimators, and management to ensure timely workflow
• Follow all OSHA, environmental, and dealership safety guidelines

Requirements

What we're looking for:

• Prior experience as an automotive painter, prepper, or refinisher (preferred but not required for motivated candidates)
• Strong understanding of refinishing processes, materials, and equipment
• Ability to color match and produce high-quality finishes
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
