Employees enjoy a team-oriented environment focused on safety, efficiency, and producing quality products that keep customers moving forward.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Crane Operator - 2nd Shift Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Thursday from 04:30pm to 03:00am)Operate a 25/35-ton overhead crane to move steel coils throughout the facility.Load and unload trucks, rail cars, and production equipment.Pull steel coils from inventory and place materials in designated storage locations.Feed steel coils to slitting and production lines as needed.Follow all company safety procedures while working with heavy equipment and materials.Crane Operator - 2nd Shift Qualifications:Previous overhead crane experience preferred.Ability to safely operate equipment and follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.Ability to stand and walk for 8–12-hour shifts.Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
