Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a busy hospital MRI department servicing inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required Current BLS certification through AHA required Current MRI license/certification required, with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment License required if applicable Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment Responsibilities Hospital-based MRI department in a roughly 100-bed facility Services inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 17:00 13-week assignment length Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic and treatment images of pathologies Prepare and position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters for cross-sectional imaging Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and patient education related to examinations Enter and monitor patient data throughout the imaging process Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, including correct markers and patient history Monitor equipment function and report potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms Navy blue scrubs required Local candidates accepted, subject to facility radius rule which may affect pay rate Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr
