Pharmacy Technician
Healthy Pharmacy
This is for a pharmacy technician position (Thursdays and Fridays 8AM-5PM, with a potential for a full time). Responsibilities Work closely with the pharmacist on duty and follow policies & procedures, as set forth. Proper inventory management and purchasing. Accurately aid in counting, packaging, and preparing prescription orders. Assist patients and customers with their OTC purchases and prescription needs. Reconcile deliveries and pick-ups. Entering prescription orders and properly transmitting claims to the appropriate insurance companies. Qualifications Retail experience is preferred, not required. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be a team player with proven abilities to apply judgment, ethical practice, and decision-making skills. MMS PrimeRx knowledge preferred, not required. The days and hours the pharmacy is operational are Monday to Friday 8 AM-7 PM. Assigned work hours are flexible and will be discussed.
