Emergency Medicine Physician

Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated healthcare system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team in the vibrant coastal community of Lincoln City, Oregon.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, employed position with 12-hour shifts (mix of days and nights)
• 1.0 FTE - 1512 hours per year
• Schedule is evenly distributed among a team of six emergency-trained physicians
• Average of 30-40 patients per day during daytime hours
• Annual ED volume is 14,000 visits per year
• Two 12-hour physician shifts and one 12-hour APC shift per day

Clinical Scope

• Non-emergent and emergent care in a fast-paced environment
• Procedures include suturing, central line placement, intubation, and other bedside procedures
• Supportive team culture with a focus on collaboration and quality care

Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Proficient in central line placement, intubation, and emergency procedures
• Certified in ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPR
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
• Eligibility to work in the United States
