Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to become part of our well-established and expanding private practice located in the scenic coastal area of Wilmington, North Carolina. The role can be tailored to be either full-time or part-time, based on the candidate's qualifications, interests, and availability. This presents a fantastic opportunity for a physician eager to engage in high-quality, outpatient-focused endocrinology within a supportive, flexible, and collaborative setting. Our clinic is a leader in employing 3D thyroid ultrasound and elastography for the diagnosis of thyroid nodules.

Position Highlights

• Primarily an office-based role with no hospital duties required.

• Emphasis on thyroid conditions (including thyroid cancer, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, hypothyroidism, and hyperthyroidism) as well as parathyroid issues (Hyper/Hypoparathyroidism). Candidates interested in exploring other non-diabetic endocrine disorders (such as adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

• Minimal after-hours call schedule (approximately 1 week out of every 4).

• Opportunity to engage in clinical research and contribute to publications, if desired.

• In-house ultrasound and fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy procedures available.

• Modern clinic equipped with updated facilities, advanced technology, and a skilled support team.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.

• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

• Eligible for DEA registration.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
