Federal Grant Tutor – Elementary Math (Bryden) Beachwood City School District – Bryden Elementary School, Beachwood, Ohio. Position Summary Part‑time Federal Grant Math Tutor for the 2026‑2027 school year, not to exceed 30 hours per week. The tutor will provide instructional support in elementary mathematics, plan lessons, assess student learning, and collaborate with classroom teachers. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver classroom instruction in elementary math, aligning lessons with state standards and district curriculum. Assess student progress using formative and summative evaluations, adjust instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate lesson plans, record‑keeping, and provide data for instructional decisions. Assist with IEP, 504, and other intervention planning for eligible students. Communicate regularly with parents and staff regarding student growth and instructional strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate research‑based instructional practices. Attend required trainings, meetings, and in‑services; participate in IEP meetings as needed. Serve as a cooperating teacher/mentor for student teachers and attend educational field trips. Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Pupil Services or Building Principal. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Current Ohio Department of Education licensure for grades K‑5. Highly Qualified Teacher designation or equivalent experience. Valid Ohio motor vehicle license. Completed background check (BCII and FBI). Passable health requirements mandated by law. Ability to work both independently and with a team, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain professionalism. Compensation $35.00 per hour (part‑time). Employment is under Beachwood Federation of Teachers (BFT) contract.
