Job Title

Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 12-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients in accordance with approved medical staff protocols and department policies
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures including intubations and arterial line insertion
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas and maintain patient airways
• Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient respiratory status
• Perform pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist clinical experience, including hands-on intubation experience
• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist state license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or long-term acute care setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital environments
