Electrical Foreman

The role of a Foreman Electrician is to oversee electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through to completion. Success will be measured by the incumbent’s effective and efficient management of cost, quality, and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities

TECHNICAL:

Bending and threading EMT, Rigid, and PVC-coated conduit. Installing switchgear, MCCs, and panels. Terminating power and control wiring neatly and accurately. Must have a strong working knowledge of: Power and control from 24vdc to 480vac. Troubleshooting complex control circuits from Motor to PLC I/O. Use of DMM, Megger, Circuit Tracer, and other necessary test equipment. Ability to read and understand Plans, Specifications, Maintenance Manuals, Calibration Procedures, and Electrical Schematics.

Ensure that jobs are completed on budget. Ensure that jobs are completed on time. Ensure that direct reports are on task. Ensure that jobs are completed with top quality. Qualifications Must be a “California State Certified Electrician” Must have a minimum of six (6) years in the industrial electrical trade. Knowledge of the practical application of industrial electrical construction. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Professional appearance. Clean DMV record. Must be able to communicate verbally in person and via telephone to understand customer needs, provide direction, explain solutions, and present information.
