Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients according to established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes in patient condition.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state licensing requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid NC or Compact RN license with multi-state authorization.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of hospital medical-surgical nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate recent EPIC EMR experience.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to float within hospital units as needed.
  
  
• 
  Provide references and current certifications upon request.
