Physical Therapist – Acute Care | Fort Myers, FL
Full-Time | Day Shift | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Up to $124,000 + Hiring Incentives
Position Overview
A leading healthcare system is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its Rehabilitation Services team in Fort Myers, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative acute care environment while helping patients regain mobility, strength, function, and independence.
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- $76,000–$124,000 annually , based on experience
- Up to $22,000 in hiring incentives , if eligible

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Acute care hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions
- Improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and independence
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Assist with safe discharge planning
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Patient Population
Patients may include those recovering from:
- Stroke and neurological conditions
- Cardiovascular and respiratory conditions
- Orthopedic injuries and surgeries
- Oncology-related conditions
- General weakness and deconditioning
- Other complex medical conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy required
- Active Florida Physical Therapy License required
- No experience required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Acute care experience preferred but not required
