Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology Nurse

Schedule: 4x10 Days

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year RN experience; preferred 3–5 years
ICU experience: Required
Travel experience: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience with procedural sedation monitoring/administration
Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Proficient in Interventional Radiology procedures, including CT-guided biopsies, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
Monitor patient status pre, during, and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort.
Administer sedation and manage any complications during procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care expectations.

Compliance / Notes:

Pending license accepted (preference for quick starts).
References required: 2 covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
Pre-start modules required.
