CNC Team Lead

Sr. CNC Team Lead Location: On-site (Temperature-Controlled Environment)

Pay: $27.00 – $34.00/hour 

We’re looking for a Senior CNC Team Lead to combine hands-on expertise with team leadership. In this working leadership role, you’ll lead high-performing teams, drive production on complex multi-axis machinery, and help continuously improve our operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience:
  • 2+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (Required).
    
    
  • 4+ years of combined CNC and manufacturing leadership experience (Preferred).
    
    
  • Background with multi-axis CNC machinery (Strongly Preferred).

• Skills: extensive knowledge of CNC troubleshooting, blueprint reading, customer specs, Lean/6S principles, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct operators working on complex, multi-axis CNC machinery
• Ensure production schedules are met with a focus on quality and on-time delivery
• Communicate staffing needs, production challenges, and KPI performance to leadership
• Monitor and track production data (workflow, scrap, efficiency) and escalate issues as needed
• Partner with production planning to manage workflow and scheduling
• Train, coach, and develop team members on processes, procedures, and safety standards
• Conduct performance feedback, time approvals, and support hiring/disciplinary processes
• Perform hands-on CNC setup and operation as needed
