Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 07:00 - 15:00

Night Shift: On-call rotation

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, performing various cardiac procedures, and maintaining the safety and comfort of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure best practices in patient care.
• Maintain and operate cardiac lab equipment, including GE EMR and Meditech systems.
• Monitor patient vitals and prepare patients for procedures.
• Participate in on-call duty as required during night shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Florida.
• Experience in the Cath Lab and the operation of Impella and IABP devices.
• Preferred experience in vascular/peripheral interventions and EP.
• Strong ability to work independently and possess a great attitude.
