Registered Behavior TechnicianThe Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provides high-quality early intervention services with support directions from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The RBT will be responsible for conducting initial and on-going behavioral assessments and developing treatment plans, while directing one-on-one behavior intervention in language, social, play, and functional living skills with patients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting or home-based setting.Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants.Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.Complete all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.Provide detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.Conduct intake assessments and develop behavior plans based on assessment results.Make appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed.Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.Participate in therapy meetings as scheduled.Attend CEU training as needed to maintain professional license requirements.Comply with federal, state, and local certification requirements.Other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Education/Licenses:High school diploma or equivalentRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) and must maintain an active and current certification as a RBT.In good standing with the BACB.Experience & Skills:1 year experience preferred but not requiredSensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children.An individual who thrives on being part of a team, working alongside other disciplines, as neededA collaborative spirit and a love for kids and collaborationPhysical Needs:Ability to travel to assigned APT locations, as neededAbility to move freely around the clinical environment for patient treatmentAbility to lift 15 poundsAbility to sit for a brief to extended period of timeAbility to work on computer for a brief to extended period of time
