Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner MindCare Solutions is a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health solutions for acute care facilities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and collaborative group. Compensation: $120,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities Schedule: Preferred Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate a patients' mental health status Formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options Comfortable working with comorbid diagnosis (substance use disorder and mental illness) Comfort with MAT Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects Preferred comfort level managing chronic medical condition (continuing home meds, minor adjustments if necessary). Provider will have FM/IM consult support Perform med floor consults with patients at same facility Ability to perform telehealth visits to patients located on medical floor and/or ED units at other partnering facilities. Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions Offer education and support to patients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options Perform patient group educational sessions Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions Benefits RVU bonus opportunities In house Pharmacist available - On Call Competitive Salary + uncapped bonus potential 2:4 Malpractice Coverage (W2 employees only) Medical, Dental and Vision (FTE only) HSA/FSA 401K with 4% match Disability Life/AD&D Amazing Culture Maternity Leave / Bereavement Leave Continuing Education Qualifications Valid license as a Registered Nurse; Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in FL At least 1 year of Psychiatric Acute care experience, to include Psychiatric ED, Inpatient BH unit and or Psychiatric Consult Liaison work Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in long-term care facilities Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide) Direct experience with acute care facilities is preferred as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Active and unrestricted driver's license Embrace this pivotal moment – become a part of the dynamic force that propels our shared vision forward at Psych360, now a cornerstone of Mindcare Solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
