The manager is responsible for ensuring the achievement of performance targets and strategic initiatives by meeting operational goals that are consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.The Manager of Security is responsible for the oversight of the Security Operations for the main campus, immediate surrounding properties and off-site facilities. Responsible for establishing departmental vision, philosophy, objectives and functions, studying program requirements, developing work standards and evaluating the results. Ensures that security meets all requirements set forth by TJC, OSHA, AB508, Title 22, and HIPAA.EDUCATION:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Minimum of five (5) years of relevant healthcare or similar facility security experience required.Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience required.Some experience with Title 22 and other regulatory agency requirements required.Minimum of seven (7) years of healthcare or similar facility experience preferred, some law enforcement or military experience preferred.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:Current Driver’s License issued by State of California.
