Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary:

Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a leading provider of state-of-the-art short and long-term skilled nursing services in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients, focusing on restoring function and improving overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized patient treatment plans

• Conduct patient assessments and perform interventions under the supervision of a physical therapist

• Implement treatment programs, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans

• Participate in daily Treatment Team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan for continued care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain current knowledge of physical therapy techniques, best practices, and industry standards
