Veterinarian J764051
$120k - $150kFull-time
Join an established companion animal hospital where high-quality veterinary medicine, modern clinical facilities, and a supportive team culture come together to create an excellent environment for both patients and veterinary professionals. Role Summary An exciting opportunity is available for an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal hospital in Dania Beach, Florida. The practice has built a strong reputation within the local community for providing compassionate, high-standard veterinary care and continues to enhance its clinical capabilities through investment in contemporary equipment and diagnostic technology. Working with a varied companion animal caseload, the successful veterinarian will have the opportunity to utilise their clinical skills across medicine, surgery, dentistry, preventative healthcare, and diagnostics. The hospital's focus on modern veterinary medicine provides an excellent platform for clinicians who are keen to develop their expertise while delivering consistently high standards of patient care. The role would be particularly well suited to a veterinarian who values teamwork, clinical development, and a positive working environment. Experienced veterinarians will have the autonomy to further develop their existing interests, while those earlier in their careers can benefit from working alongside an experienced and collaborative team. Key Duties •Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care to companion animal patients.
•Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnostic investigations, and clinical assessments before establishing appropriate treatment plans.
•Deliver preventative healthcare and work closely with clients to promote responsible pet ownership, routine wellness, and long-term patient health.
•Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in line with veterinary, professional, and regulatory requirements.
•Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and the wider hospital team to maintain effective clinical workflows and positive patient outcomes.
•Play an active role in maintaining a compassionate, professional, and welcoming hospital environment for both clients and colleagues. Compensation & Benefits •Competitive annual salary of $120,000$150,000, dependent upon experience.
•Performance-based bonus opportunities.
•401(k) retirement savings plan.
•Continuing Education allowance with opportunities for ongoing clinical and professional development.
•Generous Paid Time Off.
•Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
•Assistance with relevant professional memberships and veterinary licensure, where applicable. Qualifications •Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent qualification, from an accredited institution.
•Current Florida veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain licensure.
•Successful completion of the NAVLE.
•Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
•Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities and a genuine commitment to collaborative veterinary care. Location Overview Dania Beach, Florida, offers an appealing lifestyle on South Florida's Gold Coast, combining a relaxed coastal atmosphere with excellent access to the amenities and opportunities of the surrounding metropolitan area. The area is known for its beautiful beaches, waterfront restaurants, outdoor activities, and year-round warm climate, making it an attractive destination for those looking to combine a rewarding veterinary career with an exceptional quality of life. Fort Lauderdale is close by, while major transport connections provide convenient access to the wider South Florida region.
For a veterinarian seeking an established small animal practice, modern clinical environment, and a team-focused workplace in a desirable Florida location, this opportunity offers an excellent next step. J764051
