Duties may include mental health and diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, consultation, crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention, case management, and discharge planning.Pay RangeMinimum $52.00 Midpoint $52.00 Maximum $53.00Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.ExperienceRequired: Minimum one year experience with youth in mental health crisis and minimum 1 year experience delivering clinical mental health services post-graduate degreePreferred: One or more years post-graduate experience with youth in mental health crisis; experience with a hospital system, residential treatment program, community-based crisis service, or other setting serving acute mental health needsEducationRequired: Master’s degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, and/or counselingPreferred:TrainingPreferred: Prior LPS designation, crisis de-escalation training, manual holds trainingSpecialized SkillsRequired: Crisis evaluation and de-escalation; trauma-informed care; safety planning; ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Fluent in written and spoken English. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills. Ability to use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
