Machine Operator

Shift:
Must be available for assigned shift, including overtime and weekend work as required.
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM | $14.42/hr.
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM | $14.27/hr.

A manufacturing facility in Jamestown is seeking dependable Machine Operators to join its production team. This hands-on position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture metal components. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and monitor production press equipment
-Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and production quality
-Perform in-process inspections using gauges and measuring tools to verify part quality
-Load raw material into machines as required
-Identify and report quality or equipment issues promptly
-Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate production records
-Perform basic equipment cleaning and routine preventive maintenance tasks
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
-Cross-train in other production departments as needed

Requirements:
-Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
-Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred, but not required
-Ability to read work instructions, production documents, and basic measuring tools
-Basic math skills
-Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
-Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
-Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
-Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
-Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
