Greenville, United States | Posted on 03/10/2026 Position: Children's MinistryLead(K4/K5) Reports to: Children's Ministry Department Head Schedule: (10 hours per week) Sundays: 7:30am to 2:30pm One weekday:3 hours (Wednesdays 10:00am to 1:00pm preferred,but flexible) Objective: Effectively manage time, resources, and personnelnecessary to develop age-appropriate experience for assigned age group. Responsibilities Adhere to policiesand procedures as outlined in the REDEMPTION employee handbook; Take sharedresponsibility for accomplishing the vision of REDEMPTION and the RedemptionKids Department Strive to displayprofessionalism and moral conduct becoming of a church environment. SupportElementary Lead in curriculum development and preparation for Redemption Kidswhile maintaining the culture, vision, goals, and values of Redemption Kids. AssistDept Lead and Dept Head in creation and development of Redemption Kidsexperience. Becoachable and willing to go above and beyond what is asked or requiredofyou. Bewilling to seek God and add your heart and revelation to the work you createwhile remaining teachable and willing to adjust to the direction orre-direction of leadership. Bewilling to communicate and work with cross-functional teams within the ministry who may be able to assist or supply your team with additionalresources and support when necessary. Lead a team of volunteers to be prepared with all materials and informationnecessary for their assigned date and time. Workclosely with the Elementary Lead and Redemption Kids Dept Head to providesupport, feedback, coaching, etc to volunteers as needed to successfullyexecute this program and reap the benefits for your age group. Bean excellent communicator to families and volunteers in direct contact toyour role. Create a welcoming, safe and fun environment forkids to build relationship with God and others, discover their purpose andlearn to walk in Kingdom identity. Create age-appropriate physical classroomenvironments conducive to collaborative and individual learning. Study curriculum and be prepared to present orguide other volunteers as they lead during Redemption Kids Live. Manageset up / tear down / prep time of area. Manageany reports from assigned age group. Attendrequired staff meetings during the week and assist with preparation ofsupplies and curriculum materials throughout the week as needed. Attendall special events and assist when needed. Requirements Submittedand committed to the vision of Redemption. Goodorganizational and communication skills; attention to details; able to handleinformation with confidentiality. Abilityto relate well with pastoral staff, ministry leaders, co-workers, volunteers,visitors, and members.
