General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations for a high-volume, service-driven restaurant. This role is responsible for overseeing service, team leadership, financial performance, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and compliance, while building a strong and motivated team culture.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong restaurant management experience, sound financial judgment, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managers and hourly staff
• Maintain exceptional guest service standards and resolve concerns professionally
• Lead, train, mentor, and develop staff to ensure strong performance and accountability
• Monitor service flow and remain present on the floor during service
• Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and overall execution
• Manage scheduling, payroll, administrative reporting, and personnel matters accurately and on time
• Oversee labor, food, and beverage costs while supporting sales performance
• Maintain safe working conditions and proper security procedures for employees, guests, and company assets
• Ensure compliance with company standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify operational, maintenance, and service improvement opportunities
• Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and disciplinary processes as needed
• Make sound operational decisions in the best interest of the guests, team, and business

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong background in guest service, team leadership, and daily restaurant operations
• Proven ability to manage labor, costs, and overall financial performance
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to make quick, clear decisions in a fast‑moving environment
• Experience with scheduling, reporting, payroll, and operational compliance
• POS and computer proficiency, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
• Professional, polished, and guest‑focused approach
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and navigate a fast‑paced restaurant environment safely and effectively
