Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Full-Time: In the Jackson, MI Corporate Office Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am.-5:00pm. (Overtime as needed) Wage: Starting at $17.50 per hour What APHW Offers: Paid training Competitive compensation Health insurance, dental and vision 401k (Matching) Paid holidays Paid time off (Up to 5 weeks) Short-term and long-term disability Employee referral bonus Parenting time Ramsey SmartDollar ADP LifeMart & LifeCare Day to Day: Reconciliation of financial statements Handle confidential information on a regular basis Processing of bill payments to vendors and affiliates Manage accounts transactions and monthly reporting Providing support over the phone and by email for customers and employees Resolve administrative issues with customers Internet research, create journal entries, document management and retention Assist other areas in the company and other duties as assigned Qualifications: 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required Accounting software knowledge (QuickBooks, Peachtree, NetSuite, etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of general ledger and chart of accounts Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with strong work ethic, integrity, and values APHW is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
