Job Summary: As the Controls Systems Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, development, and enhancement of electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices to optimize products and system. What You Will Do:

• Provides technical leadership in Designing advanced electrical control systems and integrating electronic systems into electrification applications.
• Providing technical leadership in Designing and implementing software to control and enhance electrification systems for charging and batteries.
• Provide technical direction in Identifying and addressing areas of product weakness in finished products.

Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications; ability to develop embedded systems with varying levels of complexity to control the operations of the machine it is embedded within. Level Extensive Experience:

• Demonstrates experience with software architecture when embedded systems become complex in scale.
• Develops embedded system software using compilers, assemblers, and debuggers.
• Develops embedded systems' prototype to ensure it meets performance and security expectations.
• Ensures the hardware and software requirements are met while structuring an embedded system.
• Manages embedded systems ranging from low to high complexity with multiple units and networks.
• Utilizes various debugging tools to reduce the number of bugs in an embedded system.

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Level Extensive Experience:

• Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms.
• Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.
• Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases.
• Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation.
• Trains others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews.
• Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.

Education: Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum. Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
