Allure Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote telehealth services. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort and convenience of your home. The telehealth setting enables flexibility while ensuring you can reach and support clients throughout McKinney, Texas, and beyond. A typical work week runs Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the varied needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to the cultural backgrounds of clients. These assessments will help form tailored, individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, frequently employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Lead individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, focusing on promoting mental wellness, resilience, and coping strategies for patients facing various challenges.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care across all mental health services.

• Provide crisis intervention support, effectively managing acute situations with clients, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional stability.
\n
• Offer education and resources to clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community support services.
\n
• Accurately document all client interactions and treatment notes in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, maintaining confidentiality.

• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to share insights and learnings, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay updated on current research, advancements in therapeutic practices, and cultural considerations to enhance the quality of therapy provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population representing various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including minority groups and LGBTQ+ individuals. This role involves not only addressing common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma but also providing culturally informed care that respects the unique experiences and challenges faced by each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment strategies, and cultural competence in therapy practices.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy using inclusive and culturally responsive approaches with a history of positive client outcomes.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential digital tools for telehealth delivery.

• A commitment to uphold professional standards, ethical practices, and client confidentiality at all times.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Allure Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually.
