Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide care on a general medical/surgical floor, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays.
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and medical-surgical nursing interventions.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN state license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
• At least 1 completed travel contract required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the last 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
