Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (Licensed)

Job Summary Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) – Full Time (40 hours). Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000. Location: NovaCare Fort Washington, Maryland. Specialties: Orthopedics, Neurology, Concussion, Oncology (ReVital). Compensation: $30‑$40 per hour. Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations. Work independently and collaboratively within the outpatient orthopedic team to deliver evidence‑based care. Qualifications Current Maryland PTA license (or license in process). At least one year of licensed experience treating outpatient orthopedics. College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE. CPR certification. Passion for helping patients achieve their goals.
