About the Role:
Bruster's of Winchester is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Crew Leader to join our team in Winchester, VA! This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role at one of the most beloved ice cream brands around, where every shift is a chance to create sweet memories for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate crew members during shifts to ensure smooth, efficient operations
Provide exceptional customer service and model positive guest interactions for the team
Prepare and serve ice cream products, sundaes, cones, and specialty items with consistency and quality
Open and/or close the store following established procedures and checklists
Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards throughout the shift
Train and support new team members on products, procedures, and service standards
Handle cash transactions, POS systems, and basic shift reporting accurately
Requirements:
Previous experience in a food service, quick service, or retail environment preferred
Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-first attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
