It is the responsibility of the Service/Repair Technician to provide excellent customer service while identifying repair and or replacement needs. General responsibilities of this position include repairing, maintaining and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment. However, Liberty Mechanical Inc may identify other responsibilities of the position depending on the business necessities.

Job Duties:

• Work safely following company policies
• Performs service calls and maintenance calls scheduled by dispatcher, writes out service tickets, and maintains truck inventory
• Maintains HVAC systems by diagnosing, repairing/replacing compressors, condenser motors, evaporator motors, metering devices, and more.
• Tests and repairs HVAC systems by operating the systems, identifying malfunctions, and repairing or replacing parts and components. Capable of troubleshooting systems, performing preventive maintenance, and writing up repair descriptions.
• Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors
• Ability to communicate needed repairs to clients and obtaining customer signature to proceed with repair.
• Properly fill out all paperwork required for each job
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
• Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions
• Provide assistance to other team members as directed by management. Any other assigned duties as directed by management

Job Requirements:

Education Experience:

• Minimum 4 years experience Servicing and Repairing Residential HVAC Systems
• EPA Certification a must
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift up to 100lbs
• Able to tolerate temperatures above 110 for extended periods of time
• Able to work overtime, if needed
• Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
