Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient settings and formulate tailored treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal results
• Educate patients and their family members on therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress in strict adherence to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and multidisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
