Part-time Obgyn Physician

Non-Profit Medical Campus is looking to hire a part-time OBGYN physician to join their team in the Northern Big Horn Basin area of Wyoming! 1.5 hrs from Billings, MT! Open to new graduates.

• 25 bed critical access hospital with a 24/7 physician staffed emergency department

Your role with the company:

• Assume 24-hour call responsibilities in collaboration with the full-time OB/GYN physician and assists with backup coverage for CNM, and primary care provider.
• OB/GYN consults, including those from the emergency department
• Provide pre/postnatal care for obstetric patients
• Provide inpatient obstetric care to include deliveries and C-sections
• Perform outpatient GYN surgeries
• Contraception management, IUD insertion, family planning, well-women care
• Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, and other learners

Background profile:

• Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology
• Proficient with EMR systems. Experience with Cerner preferred
• Clinically excellent and have prior experience in a busy obstetrical practice
• Strongly interested in medical student education
