Responsibilities:
- Perform blood bank and transfusion service testing procedures
- Conduct blood typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and compatibility testing
- Prepare and issue blood products safely and accurately
- Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance standards
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve testing discrepancies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory teams to support patient care
Job Requirements
- ASCP certification preferred (MLS/MT/BB)
- Previous blood bank or hospital laboratory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of transfusion medicine practices and laboratory procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
