Data Engineer

Our client is looking Data Engineer for Long Term project in Houston, TX (onsite only) Below is the detail requirement.

Title - Data Engineer


Location - Houston, TX (onsite only)


Contract duration - 6 months (might be extended based on performance)

Role Overview The Data Engineer focuses on building and maintaining data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and cloud-based solutions that support Client's energy industry software products.

Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of relevant software/data engineering experience.
• Oil and Gas Experience preferred
• Python
• SQL
• Data Modeling
• ETL/Data Pipeline Engineering
• AI/ML Frameworks
• Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Software Development fundamentals
• System Design and Architecture
• Full-stack exposure (Angular/Node.js preferred)

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
• Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
• Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions.
• Implement LLM and Generative AI solutions, including:


o Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)


o Vector databases/search


o Prompt orchestration pipelines
• Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in architecture decisions for enterprise-scale platforms.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
