Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and strengths of children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that account for developmental stages, familial dynamics, and individual resilience factors, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with the tools they need to foster emotionally supportive environments for their children.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure that all aspects of a patient's care plan are aligned and effective.

• Provide crisis intervention when needed, helping families navigate difficult situations, including emergencies related to mental health.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community support resources to empower them in their journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and best practices, contributing to the overall growth of the practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain current on the latest research and methodologies in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position will be serving children and adolescents struggling with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral disorders. Our aim is to provide a supportive and understanding environment where young patients can thrive and engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and a range of treatment approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with and engage patients tactfully and empathetically.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation and patient tracking.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collaborative care efforts.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on children and adolescents is preferred.

• Prior experience implementing evidence-based therapies and working within outpatient or community health settings will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
